Getting Ready

At Pixel Groves, our approach during the getting ready process is to stay out of the way and let the magic happen. We believe in capturing these moments as they naturally occur—no interruptions and no staged poses. From the laughter shared between bridesmaids and groomsmen, to the final touches of makeup and getting dressed, we document it all with an unobtrusive lens. These intimate snapshots of excitement and emotion become timeless memories, giving you a full picture of your wedding day, from the very beginning.
First Look
The First Look is a heartfelt moment that sets the tone for your wedding day. At Pixel Groves, we believe this intimate experience deserves to be captured with care and artistry. Using long lenses, we maintain a respectful distance, allowing you and your partner to focus solely on each other as you share this special moment. Our approach ensures that we document the genuine reactions and connections, preserving the magic of your reveal. Ceremony
The ceremony is the heart of your wedding day, a moment filled with anticipation, emotion and significance. With our two-photographer package at Pixel Groves, we ensure that every angle is covered as you walk down the aisle. Our focus is on capturing the authentic reactions of both partners as they see each other for the first time. We believe these fleeting expressions of love and joy are priceless, and we’re dedicated to preserving them for you. From the tender glances to the emotional vows, we document every heartfelt moment, creating a stunning visual narrative of your commitment to one another.
Reception
Let the fun begin! From grand entrances, to first dance, parent dances, toasts, cake cutting, dinner, dance time and partying, this is the part of the day where you get to relax and have fun! We do minimal posing during the reception, we love to capture those raw, candid moments as the best day of your life comes to an end.
Formal Family Photos
The formal family photos are one of the most traditional parts of a wedding day that has held up against the test of time. This typically occurs follows the ceremony, while most of the guests are enjoying cocktail hour. We understand how fast your wedding day moves, so we always work closely with you prior to your wedding day to make sure we have a full list of family photos that you would like to capture. Right after the ceremony, we pull you guys and your family aside and start calling out groups for the photos. Our goal is to keep this portion of the wedding moving along smoothly, while allowing you to enjoy the time with your entire family! As soon as we are done with the family photos, we excuse the family to cocktail hour and we move on to the wedding party photos!
Wedding Party Portaits
Your wedding party is the heartbeat of your wedding day! They keep you together, help keep things moving and wipe those tears of joy away! The wedding party photos are such a fun part of the wedding day! We take some time after the family photos to capture you and your entire wedding party. This part is always so much fun because you get to be as silly or as serious as you want with your best friends in the world!
